With the kind sponsorship of the Commonwealth Journalists Association, the IPRD cordially invites you to an exclusive book launch for A User’s Guide to the Crisis of Civilization: And How to Save It (Pluto/Macmillan, 2010) by Dr. Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed, IPRD Executive Director

Location: The House of Lords, Committee Room 3, Palace of Westminster, SW1A. Access via St. Stephens entrance

Time: Wednesday, 8 December 2010 · 6:00pm – 8:00pm  (please allow for at least 30 min to get through security)

Dr. Ahmed will present the findings of his new book on the converging crises of climate change, energy depletion, food insecurity, economic meltdown, international terrorism, war, and state-militarization
