Dean Puckett. Dean is a film-maker and activist. Having studied film production at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, he worked in various TV and film production companies before making his own feature films. His films include Loony in the Woods (2006); The Elephant in the Room (2008), The Crisis of Civilization (2011) and the forthcoming Grasp the Nettle (2012) – based on his experiences of living in an eco-village in London and at the Democracy Village at Parliament Square. The Crisis of Civilization has received numerous film festival awards and critical acclaim, including receiving praise from BAFTA-award winning film director Nick Broomfield.
